2009
Company posts narrated, guided tours of listings on YouTube.com. Nothnagle Insurance Agency is launched. Company announces headquarters to relocate to Downtown Rochester in 2010. Nothnagle climbs to 33rd largest company in the country according to Realtor Magazine. Home Services division is rebranded and expanded to include over 120 service providers. Company expands into Buffalo marketplace through Nothnagle REALTORS Property Centre, a franchised location owned and operated by Mark Pagano.
2008
Company celebrates 60th anniversary and March 20, 2008 is designated "Nothnagle Realtors Day" in Monroe County. Nothnagle.com is recognized as the 8th Best Real Estate Brokerage Website in America. Landimere Realty merges with Nothnagle and a new Newark branch location opens. Two additional branches are opened in Geneseo and Brockport. Gail Vanderbrook and Mark Swanson join the ranks of branch management and Karen (Wingender) Leonardi joins the Company as Vice President of Corporate and Consumer Affairs. Nothnagle named 36th largest company in the country by Realtor Magazine.
2007
Jennifer Hess joins the ranks of branch management. The Company exceeds $1.2 billion in sales. Over 150 new agents joined the Company.
2006
Louis DiMartino, Sharon Thomas-Brown, Michelle Schlossel, David Sharp, and Frank Robusto join the ranks of branch management. John Arquette is named General Manager. Company opens 22nd branch in Mendon-Honeoye Falls. Armand D’Alfonso becomes Chief Executive Officer.
2005
For the third consecutive year, the firm surpasses the $1 billion dollar mark in sales, with $1.2 billion. Fay Clingan, Kenn Murray and Lou Alaimo join the ranks of branch management. Creekside Properties in Honeoye Falls merges with Nothnagle Realtors.
2004
Nothnagle Realtors again surpasses the $1 billion mark with sales totaling $1.1 billion. Philip Nothnagle becomes Chairman/CEO and appoints Armand D'Alfonso to the post of President and Chief Operating Officer & Daniel Nothnagle to Vice President of Marketing and Advertising. Christine Nothnagle is named President and Chief Operating Officer for Nothnagle Home Securities Corp.
2003
Company opens branch in Naples and embarks on new career training program called Career Trax. Golden Acres Realty in Newark merges with Nothnagle, giving firm 21 branch offices. Nothnagle ClientPerks Program is launched. Nothnagle.com offers exclusive "Guided Tours" - visual display of listing photographs, music, text and narration. Nothnagle Realtors is the first Rochester-based realty company to exceed $1 billion in sales. The record setting sales figure accounted for almost 9,000 transaction sides and represents a 12% increase in sales from a year ago.
2002
Nothnagle Realtors acquires Krause Realty. New sales office in Naples is opened, Nothnagle now operates 20 branch sales offices and serves a seven county area. Company year-end sales volume over $913 million - best year in company history! Nothnagle.com now offers complete local and national listings.
2001
Company acquires Home Spirit Realty. Home-Link Division is launched.
2000
Company acquires The Property Shop, which establishes a branch in Ontario, New York.
1997
"Sunday Showcase of Homes" TV Show moves to WROC Channel 8.
1996
Sales through the Rochester area MLS top $1 billion for the first time.
1995
October 1995 award-winning Nothnagle.com is launched.
1993
Company launches exclusive 4-Sale Line, 585-292-8500.
1991
Company changes name to Nothnagle Realtors and adopts a new logo.
1985
On May 5th, Nothnagle made real estate marketing history with the first ever TV show for real estate listings - the Sunday Showcase of Homes.
1983
Company transfers its interest in "Gallery of Homes" to Empire of America. Nothnagle remains a member until 1991.
1980
Company now has 18 branch offices.
1978-1979
Company acquires offices in Chili, Brockport, Scottsville, Brighton and Palmyra from other REALTORS®
1975
Company moves main office and operations from Midtown Plaza to 1485 Monroe Avenue.
1972
John T. Nothnagle retires. Company has grown to 12 offices.
1971
Pittsford Office is expanded on Main Street in the village to three times its original size.
1969
Nothnagle Home Securities Corp. begins operations. It is the first licensed Mortgage Banker in New York State.
1968
Phil Nothnagle becomes Vice-President and Ray Nothnagle becomes President of Company.
1967
First Company owned branch office opens in Greece, on Ridge Road West.
1965
Phil Nothnagle joins Company as an agent and mortgage trainee.
1963
Midtown Plaza office, terrace level, opens one year after Midtown is built.
1960
Nothnagle Realtors now has 6 office branches - Greece, Irondequoit, Brighton, Webster and 2 in Rochester.
1957
Ray Nothnagle joins Company as salesman and part-time office worker.
1952
First ground floor Gallery of Homes office opens at 16 East Main St.
1950
John T. Nothnagle opens the first "Gallery of Homes" in the Granite Building in downtown Rochester. Clients could view photos of properties in a Gallery of Homes - right in the office. This innovation saved time for everyone because buyers didn't have to visit every home.
1948
John T. Nothnagle, Inc. is registered as a New York corporation.
